Our front idlers for excavators and bulldozers are delivered completely assembled and pre-lubricated. The front idlers are thus immediately ready for mounting on the undercarriage of your equipment. The idlers undergo a heat treatment by induction during the production process. As a result, the wheels obtain excellent wear resistance on the tread.

Front idlers with brackets

Our idlers for excavators and mini-excavators are usually supplied assembled with the 2 side arms (brackets).
The purpose of the brackets is, on the one hand, to keep the wheel centered in the chassis but also, on the other hand, to attach the spring (recoil unit) to the idler.
Internally, the axle of the frontidler is mounted on bearings/bushings. The seals (O-ring and seal group) ensure that the oil continuously lubricates the inside of the idler assembly.

Idlers with axle/shaft

Front idlers with axle find their application especially on Caterpillar bulldozers. Whereas the idlers are attached to the machines using mounting brackets.
