Cutting edges HB500
The cutting edge is one of the most heavily stressed parts of an excavator bucket and a dozer blade. A worn cutting edge reduces the bucket’s penetration capability and can eventually lead to wear of the bucket's structure. We supply cutting edges made from HB500 wear-resistant steel, available in various thicknesses, widths and lengths. Our range includes:
- Single- and double-bevel cutting edges
- Weld-on cutting edges
- Bolt-on edges
Cutting edges can be supplied for standard applications or further processed and customised according to the customers specifications.
Half-arrow profiles
These profiles are an easily replaceable protection for the bucket’s main cutting edge. They are welded onto the base edge and form an additional wear layer. The main advantage is that once the half-arrow profile is worn, it can be replaced without requiring extensive welding work on the bucket itself. These arrow profiles are always supplied in HB500 wear-resistant steel.
Bucket teeth and adapters
For heavy-duty excavation work, a reliable tooth system is essential for optimum ground penetration. We supply bucket teeth, ripper teeth, tooth holders, adapters, pins and locking systems for a wide range of applications: from general earthmoving to working in hard, abrasive ground and quarries. We can also assist you with the replacement or identification of existing tooth systems such as Esco, MTG, Hensley, Combi, and others.
Chocky bars and anti-wear strips
For areas of the bucket that are particularly exposed to wear, we also supply wear strips, chocky bars and wear-resistant protection blocks. These wear parts are strategically welded onto surfaces exposed to extreme abrasion. They provide an additional protective layer between the abrasive material and the underlying structure.
Chocky bars are particularly suitable for excavator buckets, loader buckets and other components that are continuously exposed to rock and rubble. They can also be easily fitted to curved and irregular surfaces.
