The width of the rubber track 400x72,5x78W for SUMITOMO SH65U-2 measures 400mm. The links of the rubber track are positioned at a distance of 72,5mm from one another and the track has a length of 78 links. This track offers a great resistance against wear and breakages, due to the presence of steel cords which are being winded up around the tracks multiple times during production. This rubber product make use of the anti-vibration-concept: all the links in the track are positioned in an offset (staggered) fashion. In this way the links offer a continuous support to the bottom rollers of the undercarriage. Thanks to this feature vibrations are being reduced while travelling. This is a wide (W) gauge type rubber track.
