The width of the rubber track 400x72,5x72N for KOMATSU PC40R-8 (RUBBER TRACK) (S/N: 30001-UP) measures 400mm. The spacing between two consecutive links, measures 72,5mm and there are 72 links (metal pieces) present in the rubber track. In order to improve your productivity, this rubber track has been manufactured using a particular method where the steel cords have been winded up multiple times around the track. This continuously winding up of the steel cables offers a greater resistance against breaking and keeps your machine longer at work. This rubber product make use of the anti-vibration-concept: all the links in the track are positioned in an offset (staggered) fashion. In this way the links offer a continuous support to the bottom rollers of the undercarriage. Thanks to this feature vibrations are being reduced while travelling. This rubber track uses a narrow (N) gauge.
